Easier and faster work

Quilombo was reborn with the arrival of electricity.

It was with the strength of the arm that the cassava passed through the press at the Quilombo Limoeiro flour mill, in Entre Rios. Dona Chiquinha and her husband, Adelito, opened a path, planted cassava, and for a long time all of this was sustained through manual effort. And then, Quilombo was reborn with the arrival of electricity!

Dona Chiquinha replaced the force involved in the crank with an electric motor and the job became easier and faster at her flour mill. The Federal Government and Neoenergia Coelba continue to benefit many Bahian families, providing them with quality electrical energy through the Rural Electrification Program.
