Two Neoenergy distributors shone at the 25th edition of the Brazilian Association of Electric Power Distributors (Abradee) Award — one of the main recognitions in the Brazilian electricity sector. Neoenergia Cosern, which supplies energy to 1.5 million customers in Rio Grande do Norte, won the title of best distributor in Brazil, in the Northeast region, and in terms of Operational Management. Neoenergia Elektro, responsible for distributing it to 2.9 million consumers in parts of the states of São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul, won as the best concession company in the Southeast and in the categories Management Quality and Performance

Evolution.

The two dealerships were also classified in other categories of the 2023 Abradee Award. Neoenergia Elektro won second place in the national award and third place in Operational Management. Neoenergia Cosern was the second place in Management Quality.

The award encourages best practices among energy distributors, which are divided into two categories: below and above 500 thousand consumers. The result was announced this Thursday at Clube Naval de Brasília (DF)

Neoenergia Pernambuco, which distributes energy to around four million customers in 184 municipalities in Pernambuco and to Fernando de Noronha, competed in the Management Quality category.

Those selected for the 2023 Abradee Prize follow a ranking based on the calculation of data over the past year, with the collaboration of the associated dealerships. The information collected regarding management, operation, and quality processes is analyzed and audited by nationally renowned partners, such as the Ethos Institute, the National Quality Foundation (FNQ), and the Economic Research Institute Foundation (FIPE). The results of the Residential Customer Satisfaction Survey conducted by the Innovare Institute are also considered
