Neoenergia informed the market last Friday (29/09/2023) of the completion of the sale of 50% of the company Neoenergia Transmission, an asset platform operations, for Warrington Investment.

A transação reinforces Neoenergia's asset rotation strategy with a focus on the valuation and optimization of the portfolio. The inflow of funds will allow the company to reduce its net debt, strengthening its financial health.

The two companies also signed a shareholder agreement to regulate the terms and conditions of the co-control relationship between the shareholders, aligning the form of organization, management and governance of the broadcasting company and its subsidiaries.

The transaction contract was signed on April 25 of this year and involves eight operating projects totaling 1,865 kilometers of transmission lines: Neoenergia Jalapão, Neoenergia Santa Luzia, Neoenergia Dourados, Neoenergia Atibaia, Neoenergia Biguaçu, Neoenergia Sobral, Neoenergia Narandiba and Neoenergia Rio Formoso.
