“It's the first time I'm going to compete in the Olympic Games. I am very happy with this achievement in which Neoenergia is also a part. The support was essential to intensify training and to have the support that a professional athlete needs to improve their performance,” says Ana Vitória, the first athlete to join the Neoenergia Team, at the beginning of last year.

“Neoenergia is very proud to make a difference in the development of women's sports in the country. We are pioneers in the exclusive sponsorship of the Brazilian Women's Teams and the Neoenergia Women's Brasileirão. The company is committed to promoting gender equity and humanizing the company's relationship with the public. For this reason, the classification of two brand ambassadors of the Neoenergia Team at the Olympic Games expands our reach, as well as reinforces our purpose of valuing the role of women in society,” says Lorenzo Perales, Marketing Director of Neoenergia. The executive recalls that the Brazilian Women's Soccer Team is also qualified for the Olympic Games.

Currently, Neoenergia is recognized as the company in the electrical sector that most encourages women's sports in Brazil. In addition to the cyclist Tota and the swimmer Ana Marcela, the Neoenergia Team has six athletes. The others are: the four-time world kitesurfing champion, Bruna Kajiya; the two-time South American champion in the 3,000 meters with obstacles in the Under-23, Mirelle Leite; and the Brazilian Women's Soccer Team full-back, Antonia Silva
