Neoenergia intensifies investments in electric mobility and promotes training for professionals working in the automotive sector
Participants will have the opportunity to know the operation of an electricity-powered vehicle, its equipment, maintenance and charging modes
Neoenergia begins, this week, a series of training sums for professionals in the automotive market, with a training cycle that will allow them to operate throughout the chain that involves the viability of electric mobility in the country. The classes will be taught by teachers from SENAI Bahia, partner in the project, and will train instructors who in the future will contribute to the training of other professionals in the area.
From this pilot, the theme becomes part of the fixed grid of the institution and the next training can be opened to the general public. The course entitled "Preventive Maintenance in Electric Vehicles, Installation, Operation and Maintenance of chargers", will have a workload of 80 hours in each module, adding up to 160 hours of training in total in the three stages.
The classes will take place in a period of three months, when the current panorama of the electromobility market in Brazil and the world will be presented, as well as the challenges of viability in the country, already with the experiences experienced in the implementation of the Green Corridor, by Neoenergia.
"We move forward with the works of the Green Corridor and during the process we consolidate knowledge that will contribute to making the corridor commercially viable. Part of this knowledge and learning was a guide to think about the schedule of training",says the corporate manager of Research and Development of Neoenergia, José Brito.
Green Corridor
The electricity sector plays an important role in moving towards the low-carbon economy. For this, Neoenergia already promotes in its companies changes focused on decarbonization, decentralization and digitization of its processes. The company believes in electrification as one of the main paths and carries out, among several actions, the Green Corridor, a Research & Development project regulated by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL), which will deliver the largest electric mobility corridor in the Northeast. With more than 1,200 km long and 18 recharge points, the Green Corridor will connect six capitals, between Salvador (BA) to Natal (RN), passing through Aracaju (SE), Maceió (AL), Recife (PE) and João Pessoa (PB).
The project covers six of the nine states in the Northeast, passing through 70 municipalities and contributing to thousands of people being able to join electric mobility in a more sustainable way. The project also includes the development of two applications: one exclusive for drivers to monitor information about the location of stations and another focused on the management of electrostations, with data from the charging stations and pricing.
The use of electric cars decreases the emission of greenhouse gases, contributing to the decarbonization of the planet. In addition to the environmental benefit, the electric-powered car guarantees other advantages, such as efficiency. The electric vehicle runs 100 kilometers for a lower value when compared to other fuels. All these combined factors contribute to stimulating ecological awareness and investing in 'green' initiatives.
