The company is part of B3's first diversity index focusing on race and gender

Neoenergia is on the IDIVERSA B3, the first diversity index of B3, one of the main financial market infrastructure companies in the world, focusing on race and gender, whose objective is to make diversity indicators visible and tangible for the market and to generate comparability in the performance of companies. Neoenergia is one of those that stand out among the 79 companies ranked in the index.

The IDIVERSA B3 is a theoretical asset portfolio, prepared in accordance with the procedures and rules contained in the B3 Index Definitions and Procedures Manual.

The evaluation of each company included in the index considers the participation of women, black people, and indigenous people in the entire company's staff — non-leading and leading employees, board of directors, and board of directors.

The ESG agenda (acronym in English for environmental, social and governance) has been part of the business strategy since the beginning of Neoenergia's operations and is aligned with its commitments with the Principles of the Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), initiatives of the United Nations (UN).
