In partnership with Senai, 45 places will be offered for training

free administrative assistant in 10 cities in BA, RN and SP

Neoenergia is contributing to making the Brazilian labor market even more inclusive. This time, the company entered into a partnership with Senai to offer free professional qualification courses for people with disabilities. A total of 45 places will be offered for the training of administrative assistants in 10 cities in Bahia, Rio Grande do Norte and São Paulo — concession areas of the distributors Neoenergia Coelba, Neoenergia Cosern and Neoenergia Elektro, respectively. Registrations are open until May 15. Program details and candidates' requirements are on the Neoenergia website.

Those interested must have access to the internet, computer or cell phone since the courses will be taught remotely. Each state will have 15 vacancies considering the selected municipalities: Bahia (Salvador), Feira de Santana, Barreiras, Vitória da Conquista, Juazeiro, Teixeira de Freitas and Paulo Afonso); Rio Grande do Norte (Natal and Mossoró); and São Paulo (Campinas). The qualification program will focus on knowledge of entrepreneurship, professional orientation, management principles, human resources, and personnel department.

According to Régia Barbosa, superintendent of Organizational Development and Culture at Neoenergia, this is a pilot project that should be extended to other locations where the company is present. “We will continue working to consolidate our values and purposes in order to promote diversity, equity, and social inclusion in all our units. Currently, we have employees working in management sectors, and we carry out internal actions aimed at encouraging and motivating people with disabilities

,” he said.

The training program for people with disabilities is another initiative of Neoenergia in partnership with Senai for professional training. Since 2023, the School of Electricians has been offering free courses for the qualification of labor for the electrical sector in the country, including women's training. In 2023, the company broke the record with nearly 300 female electricians graduating from the 36 classes promoted during the year.
