A fully free platform that gathers together different teaching practices designed by teachers for teachers. This is the difference fo the online tool launched this Thursday (4/2)  by the Balcão de Ideias e Práticas Educativas project, developed in a partnership with the Centro Integrado de Estudos e Programas de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (Integrated Center for Studies and Programs of Sustainable Development - CIEDS).  In this platform, teachers from municipal education networks in Bahia and São Paulo will share knowledge with other teacher, through practices created during training activities carried our during 2019, at the municipal networks of Itapebi, Itaparica and São Francisco do Conde, in Bahia, and Caieiras and Francisco Morato in São Paulo. 

 “We are going experiencing a moment that is different from all we have lived before. We understand that the launching of this platform in the midst of this scenario of social isolation reinforces its initial proposal of creating networks for knowledge sharing and spaces for exchanging, as we believe that only together we will build up a better education, which is more inclusive and participative", says Renata Chagas, Instituto Neoenergia's CEO.​

DIFFERENTIATED PRACTICES​

In total, 100 practices will be provided, 60 of which as from the launching. Regarding teaching management, classes will address the family-school relationship, from the democratization of the access to education and the classroom environment to the articulation of different matters and activities involving the entire school community. 

Also filters will be available so that the teacher may select the segment, type of practice, option between teaching profession and pedagogy and which territory created the idea. All initiatives feature a pre-established framing, involving step-by-step guidance for its use, required resources, target-audience, duration and a report of the experience from professionals who implemented the idea. In addition, annexes are available, including books, photos or videos to support the teaching material. Alto, there is an area for interaction, with an open field for comments, allowing that users clarify doubts and tell their own experience. “The practices were developed by teachers trained by the project in 2019. A long path has been covered previously, involving a full process of training and curatorship. We ensure that practices included in the platform were deployed and tested", explain Nathacha Ferreira, CIEDS Project Coordinator and responsible for the Balcão de Ideias and Práticas Educativas.​

“The platform will benefit the continuity of the training that we, teachers and school managers, have in a situation of pandemic. We're not used with the change for a routine of working from home and acquiring knowledge online is critical at this point", says Rosimary Batista de Queiroz, educator and school manager of the Municipial Education Network at São Francisco do Conde (BA).

Balcão de Ideias e Práticas Educativas has worked with 1,181 professionals from the municipal education networks of Itapebi, Itaparica and São Francisco do Conde, Bahia and Caieiras and Francisco Morato, São Paulo. In total, 89 awareness and training workshops were held. The project has indirectly benefited around 18 thousand students. The platform is available nationwide, i.e., any teacher may access it and view the educational practices. 

“It is very good to count on a reliable source to give us a educational support and ideas that may be deployed at the classroom, things that are within our reality or that we may adjust", says Sonia Maria, teacher at the municipal education network at São Luís do Maranhão (MA) and interested in using the project content.​
