Commitment to women's sports

Thus, the Neoenergia Team was born, made up of victorious athletes and
full of energy - a bad energy that propels them towards new challenges
and achievements.

2024

Ana Marcela

The first Brazilian woman to win Olympic gold in open water, Ana Marcela Cunha from Bahia wants to win her second title at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. To make this dream come true, the athlete now has a partnership with Neoenergia. The water marathon runner is 31 years old and is from Salvador, Bahia, where the company serves more than 6 million customers. His most recent achievement was last year with the silver medal at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. Considered the greatest open water swimmer of all time, she also collects 14 other world medals, seven of which are gold.

The new ambassador of the Neoenergia team is also a representative of the Sea Defense Council of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) and Sustainability Ambassador of the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB), focusing on cleaning and depolluting the seas and rivers.
It's up to you, Ana Marcela!
"The partnership with Neoenergia reinforces two important connections in my career. The first is with Bahia, my place of origin, where my passion for swimming was born. The sea is a source of energy that inspires me every day to overcome challenges. The second is sustainability, a value I share with the company. This new partnership will be fundamental to improving my training in the final stretch of qualifying for the Olympics."

2023

Tota Magalhães

Brazilian under-23 road cycling and time trial champion, she currently competes on the European circuit, at the highest level of world cycling, with the encouragement of Neoenergia. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he always enjoyed playing sports and fell in love with the bike at the age of 13, when he saw his family members ride out for a commemorative ride to Christ the Redeemer. The sponsorship accompanies an important moment of career growth towards qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

With the word, Ana Vitória Magalhães, Tota!

“I feel even more motivated. I want to be part of a generation of young people that makes a difference in the world, which is attentive to important issues such as the use of renewable energy and the energy transition. It is everyone's commitment. Energy has everything to do with what I do and this partnership makes me more willing to put more power on the pedal for competitions”.

Bruna Kajiya

Three-time world kiteboarding champion (2009, 2016, and 2017) and the first woman to perform the backside 315 maneuver. She is one of the best competitors on the planet, a reference for girls and women who like kiteboarding. The exclusive partnership with Neoenergia is the opportunity to enhance your power in sports that are connected to water and wind, two important sources of renewable energy.

Say it, Bruna!

“I am very happy to be at the side of a brand that aligns so well with my lifestyle. I live in the sea and at the speed of the wind. It's nature that provides everything I need to practice kite surfing. I believe in the strength of these resources to ensure a world that is increasingly aligned with sustainable and innovative practices”.

Mirelle Leite

A 21-year-old female fundist from Pernambuco, who is getting closer to realizing a great dream: to be the first Brazilian indigenous athlete to represent the country in the Olympic Games, with an energy that moves her towards qualifying for Paris 2024. Born in the Xukuru indigenous reserve in Pernambuco, the two-time South American under-23 champion in the 3,000 meters with obstacles is now fully dedicated to winning a spot on the track team that will move to France.

In the past, Mirelle reconciled sports with working as a day laborer. Now, she has the opportunity to increase the quality of her preparation with appropriate equipment and a more intense routine, on official athletic tracks, in the city of Bragança Paulista, in São Paulo.

Tell me more, Mirelle!

“I have a trajectory of struggle and perseverance like that of so many Brazilian women. My strength comes from nature, which offers us so many renewable sources. I am very happy and grateful to be part of the Neoenergia Team. This gives me extra energy to overcome challenges and do everything in my power to honor this partnership.”
