Our poster boy
Learn the story of Adriano, 32, Ana Clícia's husband, Bruna's father, poster boy and electrician for Neoenergia Coelba.
Among Neoenergia Coelba's electricians, Adriano Menezes de Oliveira is one of the youngest. Not old, because he is already 32 well-lived years and is about to advance another house on October 20. He is new to the company and joined the company a year and seven months ago, thus realizing a dream, since he used to work for a contractor that provided services to the distributor. It has always stood out for the dedication and quality of its work with Linha Viva in maintaining distribution in the region of the center of the state. He signed up for vagas.com and, at the first opportunity, Neoenergia Coelba hired him.
It all started years ago when, after completing his second degree, under the guidance of an uncle, he took an electrician course in Goiânia, where he spent three months and 20 days studying hard, away from his family. He returned to Bahia and soon found a job as an electrician for Linha Viva at a Neoenergia Coelba contractor operating in Santo Antonio de Jesus.
“When we enter this world of electrical energy, we fall in love. I dreamt about the maneuvers, how I was going to change the cross, where the work was going to start, the step by step would cross my mind,” says Adriano, who stresses the importance of safe behavior: “With electrical energy, you can't go wrong. It's not enough to be 99%, it has to be 100%, even more so with Linha Viva. Safety is everything.”
Adriano is proud of the work he does and of the family he built. He has been married for 15 years to Ana Clícia, who works in the area of education and is studying higher education in Pedagogy. According to him, an excellent cook: “If she decides to cook grass, the grass will be good, it will be a good dish”. Adriano shares with his partner the creation of little Bruna, six years old. “The joy of home,” he says with emotion.

For him, who works with distribution maintenance and is triggered by Promptness when there is an interruption in the energy supply, the greatest joy comes when the power is restored and he sees the satisfaction in the eyes of the residents, of the Neoenergia Coelba customers, especially those who live in locations far from urban centers: “The most gratifying thing is that, it is to see the happiness of the people, that's what drives me. In a first key that I activate, for example, I can reconnect, for example, about 500 customers at a single time. At that time I feel the importance of my work”, she says proudly.
Quiet, smiling, playful, Adriano loves to review with his colleagues and, in one of those reviews, he said that one day he would still be a poster boy for Neoenergia Coelba, and he would see his photo printed on dozens of billboards on the streets of Feira de Santana. Being part of this campaign in honor of the electricians of the Neoenergia Group, being at the exhibition, on the posters, on our intranet, is certainly a good start for our poster boy.
